Lifelong Learning in Cybersecurity: Advancing Together

Cybersecurity is an ever-evolving field, and the truth is, there's always something new to learn. My passion for cybersecurity drives me to keep exploring, researching, and developing, whether that means diving into the latest tools, studying attack methodologies, or building something entirely new. This page is dedicated to my continued education journey. It reflects a commitment to lifelong learning, experimentation, and professional growth, which I believe is essential for anyone in this field.

Cyber threats evolve every day, and so must we. Here, I share the projects, research, and resources that I'm actively working on as part of my professional growth, with the hope that they can also contribute to others in the community. Together, we can learn, grow, and face the challenges that cybersecurity presents.

A Cybersecurity Book I'm proud to have written "A Mechanics Code", a non-fiction book that connects the dots between mechanical engineering and cybersecurity, offering a fresh perspective on how problem-solving and critical thinking transcend industries. The book takes my unique background in automotive systems and mechanics and translates those experiences into a language of cybersecurity.
This book is geared towards younger readers who are interested in machines, computers, and cybersecurity. It make an amazing gift and includes a lot of tech information resources to jumpstart a lifelong passion for cybersecurity!
It's available on Amazon and is a product of my love for both tinkering with machines and the intricacies of cybersecurity. It's all about showing that the mindset of a mechanic, understanding how systems work, diagnosing problems, and fixing them, can apply beautifully to protecting networks and data.

Certification Practice Tests

Certification is one of the many pathways to deepening cybersecurity knowledge. As part of my journey, I'm currently building practice tests for popular certifications. These practice tests are designed to be more comprehensive than standard ones, filled with questions that not only test your knowledge but make the learning process more engaging and fun. I believe that preparing for certifications doesn't have to be a chore but it can be a challenge that builds skill while keeping you motivated. This project is a work in progress, and I look forward to sharing the finished product with the community.

Malware Analysis Training Game

Another exciting project I'm working on is a Malware Analysis Training Game. While the details are under wraps for now, I can share that it will offer an interactive way to learn about historical malware attacks. Imagine learning the history of some of the most famous malware in a gamified way that lets you experience how they worked, how they were countered, and what lessons they taught us. The goal here is to create something that's not only educational but fun, something that makes learning about the evolution of cyber threats an engaging experience. Stay tuned, this is something I can't wait to share once it's ready.
This project has been on the back burner for a while just waiting for the right platform and timing.

The Journey of Learning Together

I'm a firm believer that no one in cybersecurity ever truly stops being a student. This page isn't just about showcasing my projects, it's about acknowledging that we're all in this continuous learning process together. From certifications to research projects, and from gamified learning experiences to deep-dives into specific threat types, every bit of knowledge adds to the bigger picture of making our digital world a safer place.

If you're interested in any of these projects, feel free to check back for updates, reach out, or share your thoughts. As I grow and learn, I'm excited to share that journey with others, fostering a community that values learning, curiosity, and resilience. Together, we can take on the challenge of securing the systems that our modern world depends on.

TryHackMe Study Guides

Create a series of TryHackMe Study Guides that complement popular TryHackMe rooms or learning paths. These guides could include walk-throughs for rooms, in-depth explanations of the topics covered, and additional practice questions to help learners master the concepts. The guides can also cover the theory behind the challenges, helping those who are newer to cybersecurity understand why certain tactics work, rather than just how to execute them. By doing this, you'll not only deepen your own understanding of the topics but also help others navigate TryHackMe's learning paths with greater ease.

OSINT Challenge Series

Develop an OSINT Challenge Series with realistic investigations that involve gathering publicly available information. Each challenge could be a story-based mission, requiring participants to solve a puzzle by finding information on fake social media accounts, public records, or other online sources. This series could have multiple difficulty levels, from basic challenges that introduce key OSINT tools and techniques, to advanced challenges involving cross-referencing data and tracing digital footprints. The goal would be to make it fun while providing valuable training for those interested in OSINT skills.
